When is Scream VI on DVD and Blu-ray?

Scream VI is now in theaters, but when can you add it to your DVD collection. Here’s what we know about the release date so far.

The sixth Scream movie is now available to watch in theaters. It has a great cast, although it does miss Neve Campbell and we’re sad about that. At least we have Jenna Ortega in the movie, who shows off yet another side of her acting skills after her Wednesday performance.

There are no signs that this franchise is slowing down. This movie is bigger than all the others, with the group facing a very different Ghostface than ever before. You’ll want to—in fact, you’ll need to—add this movie to your DVD collection.

Of course, we don’t have a DVD release date just yet. Scream VI is a Paramount Pictures movie, so we’re looking at others from the same production studio to get an idea of how long it will take. For the sake of this post, we’re looking at the fifth Scream movie and Top Gun: Maverick from 2022.

Scream VI DVD release date predictions

Scream took about two and a half months to go from theater to DVD. Top Gun: Maverick took much longer, waiting five months. The latter is an exception to the norm and likely linked to how well it performed in theaters. We’re probably looking at the same timeframe as the other movie in the horror franchise.

With that in mind, we’re looking at around Tuesday, May 23 or May 30 for Scream VI to be available on DVD and Blu-ray.

What about the Digital release? That’s usually sooner, right? It took about six weeks for the Digital release of the fifth movie in the horror franchise. That’s probably about what we’ll see here, so we’re looking at around Tuesday, April 18 or the week after that.
