The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 is not coming to Prime Video in March 2023

We’re ready for the next part of Belly’s story, but that’s not happening just yet. When will The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 come to Prime Video?

We have a lot of questions after the end of The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 1’s finale. The biggest is whether the story will follow the books when it comes to Susannah. After all, fans who have read the books are ready for Susannah not to return, but could the series change that?

We have a little longer left to wait to find out the answers. The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 is not on the list of March releases on Prime Video. That wasn’t too surprising to see, but it didn’t stop us from double-checking the list just in case. There are surprises now and then.

When will The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 come to Prime Video?

We’re still expecting a summer release for the series. That makes the most sense with the title, and we know that there is a chance for that since filming started back in June of last year. There’s been plenty of time to film and get through post-production in time for summer 2023.

There are some changes coming, and they are changes that Jenny Han says are hers. So, if you’re mad about changes to the books, blame the author of them!

One of the changes is Elsie Fisher’s character, Skye. Skye is a new addition to Cousins Beach, but is she going to be there for good or bad reasons? Kyra Sedgwick is also joining the series in an undisclosed role. E! says that it’s a new role, but is that new to the series overall or just new to this season with a character from the books?

What Han won’t share is whether there are changes to Susannah’s story. Does that hint that there are, and we’ll see Susannah fight for her boys?
