Is Season 2 of The Terminal List happening at Prime Video?
The Terminal List has been in limbo since its premiere in July 2022. Amazon has finally made a decision, and it looks like the universe is expanding.
Back on July 1, 2022, the first season of The Terminal List dropped on Prime Video. Then we had crickets. It’s taken until February 2023 for the streamer to make a decision.
In many cases, a decision that takes this long is usually bad news. However, for the Chris Pratt drama, it’s good news. The series has been renewed for a second season. The delay has been linked to a few things behind the scenes, and it looks like working out how to expand the franchise is one of them.
There is a spin-off in the works focusing on Taylor Kitsch’s character Ben Edwards.
When will The Terminal List Season 2 come to Prime Video?
So, how long will we need to wait for the second season? That’s hard to say. We don’t know just how much of the pre-production work has started on the season. That includes the writing of the scripts.
It is possible that we could see the show by the end of 2023, but we’re looking at early 2024 instead. When TVLine announced the news, there was nothing about the release date for this series or the spin-off series.
We also don’t know which Jack Carr book the second season will be focused on. Opting for the second book makes the most sense, but we know Reacher and Jack Ryan haven’t always followed the books in order. Neither did Bosch when you consider each of the seasons. It is possible to pick up a case from a later book but the personal storylines from the second book.
The Terminal List is available to stream on Prime Video.
