The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 is not coming in February 2023

We would love nothing more to see the next part of Belly’s journey. When will The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 come to Prime Video?

There is no doubt that we’re ready to see what’s next for Belly, her family, and her friends. The first season left things on a somber note as Susannah had to break the news about her illness to everyone.

It’s not yet clear if Susannah will be back on screens. The character dies between books, but the show might change a few things to keep Rachel Blanchard around. In the books, Conrad isn’t around all that much in the second book, but we do know Christopher Briney is back.

Now all eyes are on when the second season will premiere to answer our questions. It’s not going to arrive in February, but we didn’t really expect that, did we? What about this summer?

When is The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 coming to Prime Video?

We could see it arrive on Prime Video at some point this summer. That would make sense for the title of the show and to follow something similar to the To All the Boys I Loved Before movies on Netflix.

The great news is filming wrapped back in November 2022. That means the season is now in post-production, and that won’t take as long as it would for the likes of The Boys and Carnival Row. Summer is definitely plausible.

We’ll probably learn of the date a little closer to the season. Look out for news about it in April or May for a June or July premiere date. We’re ready for it whenever Amazon brings it to us.
