It’s been a very long wait for Invincible Season 2. We would love to say that it’s coming to Prime Video this month, but that isn’t the case. There is a little bit of good news, though.

Can you believe it’s been almost two years since the first season of Invincible exploded on Prime Video? It didn’t take too long for the series to be renewed, and it was even renewed for two seasons at once. That’s how popular the series was.

Since then, it’s been a long and silent wait for the series. That wait continues as the show is not on the list of releases on Prime Video in February 2023. The good news is we are getting closer to the end of it.

Invincible Season 2 is coming late 2023

The show understands that we’ve waited a long time. In a teaser trailer for the season, we see Invincible and Allen the Alien at Burger Mart talking about it. Yes, the show breaks the fourth wall, as we find out that Steven Yeun (who voices our favorite young superhero) has been very busy with writing, costume designing, and voice acting.

Yeun doesn’t do the series single-handedly of course. The teaser just makes it clear that this type of series takes a lot of work behind the scenes. We also know Yeun has been busy with a lot of other projects.

The good news is Invincible tells us when we can expect the second season. It’s going to happen at some point in late 2023. We’re here for it!

This is a great teaser, though. It answers the one question we’ve all had without giving anything for the second season away. Now we want it all the more, right?
