The Rig on Prime Video synopsis

The series is set on an oil rig off the coast of Scotland. The Kinloch Bravo oil rig team currently working is getting ready to head back home for some time, but they end up cut off from the shore completely. They’re stranded in the middle of the North Sea without a helicopter coming even with supplies.

They’ll need to work together if they want to survive. Magnus, the Offshore Installation Manager, will do everything he can to help his crew, including getting contact to the shore restored. Tensions and paranoia rise, especially as there’s a devastating accident on the rig.

Rose, the Pictor Energy Company Rep, is skeptical about the theories that the crew is coming up with. She just wants to keep the oil flowing and get everyone back to work. However, she may be thrown for a loop when she finds out what’s really going on.
