What time is The Rig on Prime Video?
The Rig is coming to Prime Video at the end of the week. What time can you watch the six-episode British series? Here’s all you need to know.
If you loved the likes of The Devil’s Hour, you’ll want to tune into the new British thriller series The Rig. Starring Iain Glen and Martin Compston, the series is sure to have you guessing through the twists and turns.
The series, which was completely filmed in Scotland, focuses on a group of oil rig workers. They are scheduled to return to the mainland when there’s a dangerous tremor. This tremor cuts all communication to the mainland so they can’t get back. Now they need to figure out what caused it and what could be on their rig with them.
The Rig release time on Prime Video
We know that the six-episode series is dropping on Prime Video at the end of the week. The official release date is Friday, Jan. 6. This is a global original, and that’s an important note to make.
Global originals drop at midnight UK time on the day of release. This is great news for those of us in North America. We usually get the content earlier than officially stated. Look out for The Rig on Thursday, Jan. 5. The episodes could drop as early as 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
Note the could part of that statement. There is no guarantee that we’ll get the episodes early. Sometimes they don’t arrive until around 9 p.m. ET. They will be on the streaming platform by midnight local, but you’ll usually be able to start watching earlier.
All six episodes will drop at once. This is sure to be a series you’ll want to binge-watch to get all the answers.
