The Rig and more streaming on Prime Video this week

There is some great content arriving throughout this week on Prime Video. The Rig is just one of the originals to look out for.

Amazon already brought some great content this week to Prime Video. We saw the release of Rosemary’s Baby, the Indiana Jones movies, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, and much more. The Jan. 1 releases are there to check out throughout the month. It will start to get a little quieter toward the end.

However, this week isn’t one of those weeks where you’ll struggle for content. There’s a new Amazon Original series dropping at the end of the week and a French version of a reality dating show we’ve come to enjoy. There really is something for all interests on Prime Video this week.

The Rig, Cosmic Love France, and more

Let’s start with the Amazon Originals that are dropping this week. We have to wait until Friday, Jan. 6, but the day is going to be worth it. The Rig is the drama to watch out for.

It stars Iain Glen from Game of Thrones and was filmed completely in Scotland, UK. It follows a group of oil rig workers who are scheduled to come back to the mainland. When there’s a sudden tremor that threatens everything, they end up cut off from the mainland and need to figure out what’s going on in their little space. Can they stick together or will the isolation from the world get to them?

If you loved Cosmic Love, you’ll be happy to hear that there’s a French version at the end of the week. This series follows the idea that star signs affect our compatibility. Now a group of French singles are put to the test to see if that’s really true.

If you want a movie for the whole family, look out for Jurassic World Dominion. It’s the third and final movie in the Jurassic World franchise, and there are some great throwbacks to the original Jurassic Park trilogy.
