The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 is not coming in 2022

As we inch closer to the end of the year, there are some assumptions we can make. One of those is The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 isn’t happening in 2022.

There is always a chance that some shows could arrive before the year is out. After all, we still have a whole month of the year to go. The truth is, there are some shows we’re not expecting in 2022. We never really did expect them this year.

One of those shows is The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5. We would love to see it before the end of the year to time with the releases of previous seasons, but that’s just not likely to happen. We would have heard something by now if it was.

When could we expect it? We may see it soon.

When will The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 come to Prime Video?

Filming for the season started in February 2022, and it has since come to an end. This is great news. It’s not in post-production, so we’re looking at a release date probably some time in the first half of 2023.

With the fourth season coming out in Feburary 2022, there was always a chance that we’d get the final season in February 2023. That’s looking less likely now, but not because the series won’t be ready. Carnival Row Season 2 will premiere in February, and I can’t see Amazon putting two of its big shows on in the same month, especially when both of those shows are airing final seasons.

Mrs. Maisel helped to put Prime Video on the map. It has landed numerous Gold Globes and Emmys, so it deserves a big send-off. So, we’d say the show is likely to premiere in March or April at the earliest to allow Carnival Row time to air first. We’re also expecting another weekly release similar to the fourth season.
