Christmas With You is now streaming on Netflix. Is there a chance that we could see the movie head to DVD and Blu-ray?

It’s time to get in the Christmas mood. At least, that’s the opinion of a few streamers and channels that have their Christmas movies coming out. Netflix’s release this weekend is Christmas With You.

The movie stars Aimee Garcia as a pop star who is suffering from burnout. She needs to find inspiration for a Christmas song somewhere, and that leads to her coming across a young fan who’s Christmas birthday wish is to meet the pop star. So, Angelina makes that wish come true, leading to her meeting the fan’s father and falling in love.

You’ll want to watch the movie, but you may not want to check it out on Netflix. Will this release come to DVD and Blu-ray in the future?

There is some bad news. We’ll likely not see Christmas With You on DVD and Blu-ray.

This is a Netflix Original Movie. We don’t see a lot of Netflix movies get a DVD release unless it’s been a theatrical release. We just have to look at the likes of A Christmas Prince and The Princess Switch to see how these types of Netflix movies don’t come to DVD and Blu-ray.

It doesn’t make sense for Netflix to release content on DVD. This takes people away from the streaming platform, and we know all streamers are struggling at the moment. There are just so many, and people don’t have the funds for all of them. That means dropping the ones they don’t enjoy that much, and Netflix has been facing a lot of backlash lately.

So, we don’t see this movie coming to DVD and Blu-ray.
