The Wheel of Time Season 2 is not coming in November 2022

November 2021, we were treated to the first season of The Wheel of Time. There is some bad news about The Wheel of Time Season 2 this month. We won’t get to see the episodes 12 months later.

We would love to say that The Wheel of Time Season 2 is going to premiere just a year after the first season did. That’s not the case, though. It’s also not really something that we expected to see.

This is a series that requires a lot of graphics. It’s also one of Amazon’s biggest shows, so if this series was arriving in November, there would have been a lot of noise about it.

When will The Wheel of Time Season 2 premiere on Prime Video?

We don’t yet have a premiere date for the new season. The good news is we seem to be getting closer to it. There is a good chance that it will be one of the first shows to come back in 2023.

There was a panel for the series at NYCC 2022. This led to a sneak peek of the new season, which makes it clear that the Dark One has not been defeated. Instead, the group has let the Dark One’s strongest lieutenants out, and that is going to mean imminent danger for the world. This lieutenant seems to want to destroy the wheel completely.

The teaser also gives us a look at Mat’s new face. We learned pretty early on that Barney Harris wouldn’t return as Mat in the second season. Instead, Dónal Finn is taking on the role, and we do get a glimpse of him in the teaser. It’s not clear how the change of face is going to be explained just yet. Apparently, the change isn’t going to be too jarring, but we’re not sure how that will be the case just yet.
