Despite House of the Dragon Season 1 ending during the month, Fire and Blood by George R.R. Martin climbed up the list of most read Amazon books last week.

Usually, as soon as TV shows come to an end for a season, we see the books they’re based on drop off the list of most read Amazon books. That’s not the case with the book House of the Dragon is based on.

Fire & Blood by George R.R. Martin climbed four spots to get into the Top 3. It shouldn’t be too surprising with the cliffhanger the first season ended on. Fans will want to know what happens next in the story.

The Boys from Biloxi up, No Plan B enters

There was another notable mover on the list during the week. The Boys from Biloxi by John Grisham gained nine spots on the list. It took it up to fourth place.

These books moving up lead to some of the Harry Potter books moving down the list. Goblet of Fire and The Sorcerer’s Stone are both back out of the Top 5.

There were two new books to enter the list. The first was No Plan B by Lee Child and Andrew Child. The novel is a new Jack Reacher book, but we’re not expecting to see it used in the Amazon series just yet. There is time, though. After all Reacher has proved to be highly successful.

Mad Honey by Jodi Picoult and Jennifer Finney Boylan also entered the list. This wasn’t too surprising considering the book has been on the most sold Amazon books list for a few weeks now.
