Reacher Season 2 is not coming in November 2022

It didn’t take long for Amazon to renew Reacher for a second season. Now eyes are on when Reacher Season 2 is coming to Prime Video.

All eyes are on when we’ll get to see Jack Reacher back in action. The bad news right now is that we won’t get to see it in November. Of course, we didn’t expect that to be the case, but it didn’t stop us checking the list of Prime Video releases just in case.

The truth is, there’s no way the season is going to be ready. Filming only started at the end of September, and we don’t yet have an idea as to when filming will wrap. The first season took three months to film, so we could look at filming ending sometime in December or maybe January if time is taken off for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

When will Reacher Season 2 come to Prime Video

After filming, we’ll have to wait for post-production to end. The good news is a show like this doesn’t need as much post-production as fantasy shows like Carnival Row and The Boys. This can help to keep the wait to a minimum.

Based on the first season, filming wrapped in July 2021 and then the episodes were released in February 2022. If filming wraps in December 2022, we could see the show released in July 2023. This is a little later than we initially thought, but that prediction didn’t take into account a filming delay until September.

There hasn’t been any news since announcing filming had started. We’re keeping an eye on all things Reacher right now, especially any hints of what’s to come during the season.
