Most read Amazon books last week: House of the Dragon book moves up
It’s not surprising to see Fire & Blood by George R.R. Martin move up the list of most read Amazon books once more. Here’s the full list from last week.
With the finale of House of the Dragon airing Oct. 23, it wasn’t that surprising to see the book the series is based on climb further up the list. It narrowly misses out on a top 5 spot, but there is time for it to move up further. The finale left us with a lot of questions and a heartbreaking death, and fans are likely to want to read the book for the changes and to see what happens to the Greens and the Blacks next.
It’s clear that finales of shows airing are having an affect on the readers, though. Fire & Blood is sure to see a drop soon. The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien dropped three places, just a week after the finale of The Rings of Power aired on Prime Video.
Righteous Prey up, The Perfect Marriage down
There wasn’t anything new on the list of most read Amazon books last week. That didn’t stop the books moving between themselves, though. The Top 5 remained the same, but there was plenty of change further down.
The biggest mover was a positive one. Righteous Prey by John Sandford moved up six places to get into the Top 15, just a week after entering the list. This wasn’t that surprising considering the popularity of Sandford’s books.
The Perfect Marriage by Jeneva Rose was the joint largest drop with The Fellowship of the Ring. It lost three places, getting knocked out of the Top 15.
