Amazon promises us an epic finale, and we’re ready to see it. What time will The Lord of the Rings Season 1 finale be on Prime Video this week?

Eyes are on this epic finale we’ve been promised. We’re also wondering if we’ll finally get some answers to our burning questions. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 1 comes to an end on Friday.

The good news going into this episode is that there is a second season. Amazon renewed the show back in 2019, allowing filming to continue off the back of the first season. This will hopefully help to keep the wait for the episodes to a minimum.

The series has been the most expensive for Amazon, and that was clear from the very first episode. It hasn’t disappointed, even putting the graphics in House of the Dragon to shame.

The Lord of the Rings Season 1 finale release time

So, what time can we expect to watch The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power‘s first season finale? Is this going to be an early release like we usually have with global originals?

This is where we have some bad news. The episodes haven’t dropped early for this series. The Lord of the Rings Season 1 finale will air at midnight ET on Friday, Oct. 14. This does mean that those on the west coast will get it a little earlier. There’s a chance to watch the episode at 9 p.m. PT on Thursday, Oct. 13.

After this, we are going into a lengthy break. It’s not clear just how long, but I wouldn’t put it past being 18 to 24 months at the earliest between seasons.
