Them Season 2 is not coming in October 2022

It’s the scariest month of the year, which means we should see horror releases. What about Them Season 2? When is it coming to Prime Video?

If you were starting to fear that Them Season 2 wasn’t going to happen, you’d be forgiven. It feels like there’s been absolutely nothing about the series since the first season. In fact, it has been pretty silent. There wasn’t even an official renewal since the show had been picked up for two seasons from the start.

Wouldn’t it have been nice to have a surprise release during the scariest month of the year? Sadly, that’s not happening. Them Season 2 is not coming out in October.

When will Them Season 2 come to Prime Video?

We don’t yet have any idea when the series will be released. There is some good news, though. We finally have some updates about the second season.

Them Season 2 will officially be called Them: The Scare. We’re heading to 1991 Los Angeles, with LAPD Detective Dawn Reeve tasked with finding the killer in a gruesome murder. This murder has left even the most hardened detectives shaken.

When she starts figuring out what’s going on, something malevolent takes hold. Like the first season, we can expect something supernatural mixed in with the normal horror.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Deborah Ayorinde is returning to the show. We’ll play Dawn and will need to deal with another case of the supernatural. Pam Grier, Luke James, Joshua J. Williams, and Jeremy Bobb will also star as series regulars. Wayne Knight, Carlito Olivero, Charles Brice, and Iman Shumpert have recurring roles.

It looks like production is starting. This could mean we’re looking at an October 2023 release date instead, although we’d love it if the show could keep the wait to a minimum at this point considering how long it’s been since the first season.
