The Amazon movie is set in 1290. Yes, this is a period movie, but it’s going to be a great laugh for those who don’t usually watch movies set in the medieval period.

Ramsey is Catherine, the only daughter of a financially destitute lord. This lord will do anything not to end up in poverty, and that means marrying his only daughter off to a man of his choosing. The problem is the marriage is not something Catherine wants, and she will do everything she can to avoid it.

When the vilest of suitors arrives, Catherine needs to up the stakes. Will she be able to turn this man away, or is she doomed into a marriage that she will hate for the rest of her life? It also means that her parents’ love for her will be tested. Surely they won’t marry her off to this man just for money, will they?
