Carnival Row Season 2 is not coming in October 2022

Is Carnival Row Season 2 ever going to come out? The list of October releases is out, and the series still doesn’t have a release date.

If there is one show we’re frustrated about, it’s Carnival Row. We know the second season has finished filming, and now it’s just a waiting game for when it will come to Prime Video.

The list of October releases on Prime Video is now out. One show that we double-checked the list for is Carnival Row, but it isn’t anywhere on the list. You’ll be forgiven for getting annoyed that it still isn’t there.

Of course, without Amazon releasing a trailer or telling us it was coming in October, we didn’t expect to see it on the list. It leads to doubts that we’ll ever get the second season of this series.

When will Carnival Row Season 2 come to Prime Video?

The only thing we have to work on is Deadline previously telling fans that the series would arrive in 2022. Since then, we’ve had no updates. We’re still waiting for just an idea as to the month the series will arrive. Will it be the end of fall or the start of winter?

Things have been so quiet that a fan even questioned whether it was never going to arrive. Would Amazon decide to just shelve it? TVLine shares that it is still going to arrive, but it’s all a matter of when. And nobody has the answer to that.

It’s not clear why there is such a delay. With filming wrapping in September 2021, there should have been enough time now to get through post-production. There was the possibility Amazon was waiting for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power to wrap, but that would have meant an October release for this series.

We are keeping an eye on this show. It does look like it’s going to be the last season.
