The Boys Season 4 is not coming in October 2022

As much as we would love to see it on the list, The Boys Season 4 is not heading to Prime Video next month. When can we expect the new season?

We would love to bring some great news about the release of The Boys Season 4. Wouldn’t it be nice to get it in October? All we have is bad news so far.

The release isn’t happening next month. That’s not too surprising. We’re not expecting it at all in 2022 considering the third season only just came out in the summer. That didn’t stop us from hoping for a miracle though.

When will The Boys Season 4 come to Prime Video?

As of right now, we can’t say when the show is going to arrive. We know it’ll be 2023 at the earliest, and we’re looking at late summer to fall of next year. Filming started in August 2022, and it does take about a year or a little more for all of filming and post-production.

There is some exciting news about Black Noir, though. The Supe isn’t completely gone. During the third season, we saw the end of Black Noir. Soldier Boy wanted revenge against the whole of Payback, especially once he learned that Black Noir betrayed him. He got that revenge, and we said what looked like a permanent goodbye in the third season.

Well, the benefit of a character where the mask is always on is that there’s no need to completely remove him. Someone else can take on that role, and that’s what will happen in The Boys Season 4, according to Entertainment Weekly. In fact, Nathan Mitchell will remain on as Soldier Boy since we didn’t see his face during the third season. Fritzy-Klevans Destine was the man beneath the mask in the earlier part of the season set in the 1980s.
