We learned a lot about Black Noir throughout The Boys Season 3. How did it all end for the silent Supe in The Boys Season 3 finale?
Caution: There are spoilers from The Boys Season 3 finale in this post.
We got to learn a lot about Black Noir this season. He was in Payback back in the day, and he was also responsible for Soldier Boy being captured by the Russians. During his time with Payback, he didn’t want to wear the mask, but that had to change.
During the 1984 attack, Black Noir was seriously injured. We would find out that it was Soldier Boy who did it after realizing that he was being betrayed by his team. Black Noir ended up joining The Seven, but the minute he realized Soldier Boy was out and looking for revenge, he removed his tracker and ran away.
Homelander confronts Black Noir in The Boys Season 3 finale
During The Boys Season 3 finale, Black Noir gained the strength to return to the Tower. This was all thanks to the cartoon characters in his head talking to him. Noir hoped that Homelander would have his back.
However, Homelander felt betrayed. After finding out that Soldier Boy was his father, Homelander wanted the truth from Noir. Did Noir know this the whole time? Once Homelander found out Noir did, Homelander attacked.
With one slice, Homelander sliced open Black Noir’s stomach. There was no way for Noir to survive that. This wasn’t like the attack with the peanuts at the end of The Boys Season 2.
In fact, we got confirmation that Black Noir died in The Boys Season 3 finale via the cartoon characters. They said their goodbyes to Noir as he took his last breath. That is it for the silent Supe.
What will this mean for The Seven moving forward? Vought can package this as Soldier Boy killing Black Noir so that’s not a problem there, but it means the team will need a new killer.
