The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 has premiered, but where can you watch the next part of June’s journey? Is the series on Prime Video?

The time has come for another season of The Handmaid’s Tale. The first two episodes are now available to stream online, and more will follow each Wednesday for the next few weeks. There are 10 episodes to the season in total.

This season sees June fight for freedom, and not just for herself. At first, it will be, though. She needs to face the consequences of killing Fred Waterford during the Season 4 finale. Will she leave Luke behind or will he stand by her?

Meanwhile, Serena Joy will need to figure out what’s next for her. She’ll mourn the loss of Fred, but she has her baby to think about. Will that pregnancy make it to term? Will she bring new life into Gilead?

Is The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 on Prime Video?

Of course, you’ll want to stream the series right away. The bad news is you can’t do it on Prime Video.

This is a Hulu Original Series. You’ll need a subscription there to be able to watch it, and there’s no need for the episodes to be made available on Prime Video for free. Something major needs to happen between Hulu and Amazon for that to happen.

Will The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 come to Amazon Video?

What about a Digital release? We see a lot of TV shows head to Digital, leading to being able to buy them on Amazon Instant Video. Is this going to happen with the new show?

Despite being a Hulu Original Series, we will see it eventually head to Amazon Video and other digital platforms. This is one of those shows where there is a Digital and DVD release agreement to create it. It’s not clear when that will happen, but we’ll be sure to keep an eye on things.
