We are heading into the past once more with a new drama. This time, it’s 16th century France, and a look at how one commoner became queen. That commoner is Catherine de Medici, who happened to have a certain pope in her corner to help her rise to the top.

You know Catherine from Reign. Megan Follows certainly brought the character to life. Now it’s time for Samantha Morton to share more of Catherine’s story, seeing her rise and how she held onto the position despite her husband’s love for another woman.
