When is Cobra Kai Season 5 on DVD and Blu-ray?

Cobra Kai Season 5 is now available to stream on Netflix. The season is likely to come to DVD and Blu-ray. When will that happen?

When it comes to Netflix shows, we don’t usually see a DVD and Blu-ray release. Cobra Kai is a little different. The series was not originally a Netflix series. It initially came to YouTube and was then saved by Netflix after being cancelled.

The fifth season picks up off the back of the events of Season 4. Daniel and Johnny have been forced to close their dojos, but they’re not giving up. Well, Johnny has other concerns with finding Miguel, who went off to find his father. Meanwhile, Daniel is turning to an enemy-turned-friend from Japan to save his dojo.

It’s only a matter of time before they learn that Terry bribed one of the judges, right? That has to change everything.

When is Cobra Kai Season 5 coming to DVD and Blu-ray?

When looking at previous seasons, we do see Cobra Kai head to DVD and Blu-ray. However, the release date isn’t going to be easy to predict. As of writing this, we don’t know if there’s going to be a sixth season or not.

If there is a sixth season, we’ll be looking at Cobra Kai Season 5 coming to DVD and Blu-ray around the same time of that release. Netflix is bringing Season 4 to DVD and Blu-ray days after the release of Season 5 on the streamer.

If there isn’t a sixth season, we’re looking at Season 5 to come to DVD around a year after the release on Netflix. That would suggest sometime in early to mid-September 2023. We’ll know more when Netflix decides what to do about the future of the series.
