We are certainly more than ready to see The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2. It’s time to find out what’s going on, and whether there will be any major changes to the book series. After all, the ending of Season 1 certainly suggested that one thing surrounding Susannah is going to change.

The bad news is we still have to wait for the series. It is not on the list of shows coming to Prime Video in September, but that’s not all too surprising. After all, the first season only just dropped in June. We’re not expecting this season for some time. We do have some updates, though.

When will The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 come to Prime Video?

We’re expecting to see the season drop sometime in the summer. After all, it’s a summer-set series, so why not bring it out in the summer months? With a series like this, we could even see the wait dropped to just 12 months between seasons, which would mean a June 2023 release date.

There are some updates about The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2. Deadline announced casting for the series. We’ll see Kyra Sedgwick and Elsie Fisher join the series. There are no details about who they will play in the season, but we do know there are plenty of great characters still to come in the second novel.

It’s going to be interesting to see if some of the actors from the first season will appear. Conrad doesn’t appear as much in the second book, but there’s a chance that the TV series will change that a little. At the same time, Susannah dies between books, but it looks like there’s a plan to keep her around for the second season.
