Remember when we weren’t sure what ViacomCBS was going to do with CBS All Access when it became Paramount+? It was never clear if the streamer would remain available via Amazon Channels.
Amazon Channels makes it very easy for viewers to subscribe to various apps. Everything is in one place, almost making it seem like there’s a lot more content on Prime Video than there really is. The prices don’t charge, either, making it a viable way for people to watch a lot of content.
What about Paramount+? Is this an app on Amazon Channels? Can you watch the live feature via this way?
Is Paramount+ on Amazon Channels?
There is some great news. If you subscribed to CBS All Access via Amazon Channels, you will have noticed that your content was still available when it became Paramount+. If you weren’t subscribing at the time, you will have noticed that the content was still available to get via the channel.
ViacomCBS didn’t change anything on Amazon Channels when it came to the merger and app change. This may change eventually, but there is a lot of success for companies offering the apps via Amazon Channels. People like convenience.
The live option is available in 99% of locations in the United States. Amazon has a full list of the locations that are available. If you don’t see it and you should, you’ll want to get in touch with Amazon support to find out what’s going on. The live option is not available outside of the United States but you can watch Paramount+ shows and movies.
