The Boys Season 3 finale spoilers: Is Soldier Boy dead?
A lot went down in The Boys Season 3 finale. Did Soldier Boy end up siding with Homelander? What happened to the powerful Supe in the end?

We were left with a lot of questions about Soldier Boy at the end of The Boys Season 3, Episode 7. After finding out he is Homelander’s father, we had to question which side he would choose. Would he honor the agreement made with Butcher, or would he end up choosing family?
Soldier Boy made it clear that he always wanted to be a father. He also assumed there would be some mini-Soldier Boys out there. However, when he came face-to-face with Homelander, he shared just what he thought of his son. He isn’t proud of what his son became. Maybe if he raised Homelander, things would be different. However, the plan was still to kill Homelander.
Butcher was on side until he realized that Ryan was also in Vought Tower. Butcher will do anything to protect Ryan, and that included asking Soldier Boy to stand down. Of course, Soldier Boy wasn’t going to do that.
Soldier Boy threatened everyone in The Boys Season 3 finale
Soldier Boy was so focused on revenge and taking out Homelander, that he didn’t care that Ryan was someone Butcher wanted to protect. A fight broke out between everyone in Vought Tower. It was hard to say who would end up winning and losing.
In the end, Soldier Boy started to lose control. Butcher tried what he could to protect Ryan, but there was only one thing for it. Maeve grabbed a detonating Soldier Boy and threw themselves out of the window.
Don’t worry about Maeve. She’s now fully human and gets to live her life. What about Soldier Boy, though? Well, he did survive the blast as normal. He just isn’t a threat anymore.
At the end of The Boys Season 3 finale, we see Grace Mallory loading a knocked-out Solider Boy (thanks to the toxin Frenchie made) into a machine. It looks like Soldier Boy is going to have one long nap. Just how long? Well, there is always a chance to revisit that and he’ll be out for revenge against everyone this time.
