There is a bittersweetness to final seasons, especially when they are planned as the final season. We know that the stories will be wrapped up, which gives us something good to look forward to. There’s nothing worse than abrupt cancellations that leave us with a lot of questions about various characters.
However, the final season means the end. These are the last episodes of the series, and we don’t want a good show to end. It is always better to end on a high, though.
The bad (or maybe good) news is that The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 is not coming to Prime Video this month. We didn’t expect it considering there’s been no promotion for the series, but it didn’t stop us from looking out for the series just in case. Just when can we expect it, though?
When will The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 come to Prime Video?
We have a bit of a wait on our hands. It’s highly unlikely that we’ll see The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 in 2022. There’s just not enough time to film and edit the episodes. The earliest we’ll see it is in February 2023.
This is a series that managed a 12-month turnaround with previous seasons outside of the pandemic years. So, there is a chance that it could happen again. If not, we’re looking at spring 2023 as most Prime Video shows take 14 months between seasons.
The final season will see Milo Ventimiglia’s character return. We still don’t have a name for this guy, but we know he was married. Will he be the one Midge ends up with if he’s left his wife finally? Or will he be kicked to the curb considering his hurtful ways? Midge knows what it is like to be cheated on, and she isn’t going to let a guy do that to her again.
Besides, Midge is focused on her career right now. She is finally dreaming big after finding something comfortable to deal with her fear of rejection again.
