Is The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 coming in 2022?

We know The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 is happening. Our eyes are now on when the new season will arrive on Prime Video. Will it be some time in 2022?

There was some great news that arrived just before the premiere of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4. There will be a fifth season. Now our eye are on when that could be.

It’s important to note that the new season has only just arrived on Prime Video. We’ve not even had the full season. Unlike previous seasons, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 is releasing two episodes a week until the full season is out.

Plus, the renewal has only just happened. This is going to affect when it could have started the pre-production work, including the writing.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 probably won’t arrive in 2022

We’re not looking at Season 5 coming to Prime Video in 2022. The fourth season has only just arrived, and work will only just start on the fifth season.

It usually takes between 12 and 18 months for new seasons to arrive on Prime Video. We can’t use the pandemic years as a guide because of filming delays. We can look at the seasons that arrived before the pandemic. Mrs. Maisel had a good track record of new seasons arriving within 12 and 14 months.

So, with that in mind, we could see The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 arriving sometime in February 2023 at the earliest. April 2023 is more likely with the way most Prime Video shows work.

This is going to depend on when filming can start. The good news is most pandemic restrictions are starting to lift. This could mean filming goes almost as normal as we get ready to say goodbye to Midge Maisel.
