The Wilds Season 3 is not coming in July 2022
We’re ready to find out what the third stage of the social experiment is. Just when is The Wilds Season 3 coming to Prime Video?
At the end of The Wilds Season 2, we learned that Gretchen’s experiment was still happening. The teenagers may think they’ve had a chance to escape, but that’s not the case at all. It turns out that it was just another stage, and it’s all led to the third stage that we should see play out in The Wilds Season 3.
The episodes won’t arrive on Prime Video this month. That’s not too surprising. After all, we don’t even know if there is going to be a third season just yet. Prime Video has still not renewed the series. We’re not too worried just yet, but we are keeping an eye out on the news.
Will The Wilds Season 3 happen at Prime Video?
What are the chances of renewal? This is hard to say because we don’t get to know the ratings on the streaming platform. However, we do know that there was a lot of anticipation for the YA series.
We will need to wait until sometime this month for a renewal. It took two months for Prime Video to renew the series for a second season, so we won’t get too worried until the end of this month.
A delay isn’t going to be all too worrisome right away. We have seem Prime Video take time to renew a series in the past. It all depends on what the pitch for the next season is like, and how long that pitch takes to come together. That being said, the longer we go without word, the more we will worry about the future of the series.
If the season is renewed, we’re not looking at it arriving in 2022. The Wilds Season 3 will likely come in summer 2023 at the earliest, but at this rate, we’re probably looking more at the fall.
