Good Omens Season 2 is not coming to Prime Video in July 2022

We are more than ready to see what’s next for our favorite angel and demon. The bad news is we still have to wait for Good Omens Season 2.

There are a lot of questions about what’s next for our favorite demon-angel duo. We weren’t even originally going to get a second season, and now it’s coming out. Filming is complete, and we’re just waiting for a release date.

The bad news is we’re not getting the new episodes this month. Good Omens Season 2 is still in the post-production stage, so that’s not all too surprising. We would have loved a surprise, though.

When will Good Omens Season 2 come to Prime Video?

How long do we need to wait? We just can’t answer this question yet, and we don’t really want to ask Neil Gaiman. He has threatened not to release it at all if people keep asking him, so we’ll just wait for an official announcement.

Of course, Gaiman’s comment was in jest. He clarified that for the people who may not have realized the joke since the written word makes it harder to tell.

However, this is a show that takes a lot of work when it comes to post-production. It could mean we’re waiting until 2023, but we hope not. Halloween would be a good time to bring us Good Omens Season 2 if it’s ready. We’ll also take a Christmas gift from Prime Video to get it in before 2022 comes to an end.

The second season is based on the sequel novel 668: The Neighbour of the Beast. This novel was never released as it wasn’t completed before Sir Terry Pratchett’s death. Gaiman promised that they would only work on it together or not at all, but that didn’t necessarily mean not using it for a TV series.
