Reacher Season 2 is not coming to Prime Video in July 2022

We are certainly ready to see what’s next for Jack Reacher, but we’ll need to wait a little bit longer. When will Reacher Season 2 come to Prime Video?

It wasn’t that surprising to hear that Reacher would be renewed for a second season. The series was a huge hit from the beginning. In fact, there was a lot of excitement as soon as the series was announced. Who doesn’t love the Jack Reacher novels?

The bad news is we’re still waiting for Reacher Season 2 to arrive on Prime Video. It’s not going to happen in July, not that we even expected it. It didn’t stop us looking for the show on the list of releases in July 2022 just in case.

When is Reacher Season 2 coming to Prime Video?

How long will we need to wait for the series? In all honesty, we’re not expecting Reacher Season 2 to arrive in 2022 at all. The first season dropped at the start of this year, and the second season is now in production.

Since it’s in production, there’s no way it could be available to air just yet. The show will need to go through post-production after that, and that process takes a few months. We’re looking at February 2023 at the very earliest for the series, but even that’s a long shot. We usually see around 14 months between seasons for a series like this, but 12 months is sometimes possible, which is why we say February 2023 at the earliest.

The second season is going to be focused on the 11th book in the series. It’s not clear why the show is jumping ahead in the book storyline, but it’s possible that the storyline for the 11th book was the one that spoke to most of the writers. It’s not like the actual cases need to be told in order as long as Reacher’s character development is done in order.
