There are some great releases on Prime Video this week, and The Summer I Turned Pretty is one of them. What time can you stream the series?
Just a year ago, we learned that Jenny Han’s novel, The Summer I Turned Pretty, was going to be turned into a TV series for Prime Video. The wait for the series is almost over. The first season drops at the end of the week.
The first season is likely to follow the first book in the trilogy series. There is already a second season confirmed, which we’re expecting to follow the second book in the series.
The first season follows the story of a teenage girl trapped in a love triangle with two brothers. She deals with love and her first heartbreak all during what was supposed to be a perfect summer.
The Summer I Turned Pretty release time on Prime Video
So, what time can we start watching the series? It is being released as a binge-watch on Friday, June 17. The official release time is midnight GMT as this is a global release.
There’s some excellent news about this release. Because it’s a global release, we’re expecting it to arrive a little earlier than expected in North America. We’re probably going to see it drop at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on Thursday, June 16.
There isn’t any guarantee of the early release. Just like all other shows, the official release date is Friday. However, we see the early release happen a lot more than it doesn’t. This gives us a lot of hope of being able to start the binge-watch on Thursday night. If it isn’t available early, though, we’ll see the series drop at midnight local on Friday.
The Summer I Turned Pretty is coming to Prime Video on Friday, June 17.
