Undone Season 3 is not coming to Prime Video in June 2022

We would love nothing more to see Alma and Becca return for more mystical journeys into the past. We’re still waiting for news about Undone Season 3.

Our eyes are certainly on Undone Season 3. We’d like any good news about it right now. After all, we don’t even know if it’s happening yet.

The second season dropped at the end of April. Since then, it’s been radio silence from Prime Video about it. There are a lot of shows in limbo right now, which isn’t normal for the streamer. We usually get early renewals or immediate renewals. Delays usually mean bad news.

However, it took two months for Upload to get a renewal. We’re holding onto hope that there’s still time for Undone to be renewed.

When will Undone Season 3 come to Prime Video?

Assuming the show is going to happen, we’re not expecting it at all in 2022. We’d even say 2023 is a push. This is the type of show that takes a long time in production.

We know animation takes longer than live-action normally, and Undone isn’t your usual animation. It’s filmed first and then the animation is drawn over the top of it. That’s why the characters look so real. It’s an amazing process to see, and it’s because of that that we’d love to see a third season. This type of work needs to be promoted better, though.

Because of how long it will take, we’re looking at 2024 as a release date. While the pandemic did have some role in the delay for Season 2, it was also due ot the production process. The first season came out in 2019 and it would have been around the end of 2021 had the pandemic not happened for the second season to arrive. We’re looking at early to mid-2024 for Undone Season 3 if it happens.
