Reacher Season 2 is not coming to Prime Video in June 2022

We’re ready to see what’s next for our favorite drifter veteran military cop. When will Reacher Season 2 come to Prime Video?

After the success of the first season, it wasn’t surprising to see that Prime Video immediately ordered a second season of Reacher. The series was highly anticipated as soon as book fans learned about it, and the quality of the show lived up to expectations.

Now we want more. The bad news is we’re not getting more just yet. Reacher Season 2 was not on the list of new releases on Prime Video in June 2022. We never expected it to be there, but it didn’t stop us from looking out for it.

Now we’re looking out for any news about the second season. What do we have to look forward to in the second season?

When is Reacher Season 2 coming to Prime Video?

We’re not expecting the second season any time soon. The show needs to film and go through the post-production process. It’s not clear exactly where in production it is right now, but we do have some news updates.

Just recently, Deadline confirmed that Maria Sten would return to the series Frances Neagley. That’s not surprising considering the character does show up in other books, and the second season is based on one of those books she appears in.

While the first season was based on the first Jack Reacher novel, The Killing Floor, the second season is jumping ahead to the 11th book in the series, titled Bad Luck and Trouble. This ends a lot of questions about whether some of the characters from the first season will show up. There will certainly be some who aren’t around due to the characters Reacher runs into in the 11th book.

So, now we wait for the new season. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on all the latest updates for the show.
