Invincible Season 2 is not coming to Prime Video in June 2022
We would love nothing more than to say “surprise, Invincible Season 2 is coming in June.” That’s not the case. When will it arrive on Prime Video?
There is no doubt that Invincible is one of the Prime Video shows we can’t wait to see more of. Prime Video clearly believed the same renewing it for not just one season but two seasons!
The wait for Invincible Season 2 isn’t over yet, though. The series was nowhere on the list of releases in Prime Video in June 2022. We didn’t expect it to be on the list, but it would have been nice to have a surprise addition.
Of course, everyone wants to know when the wait will come to an end. It’s not been more than a year since the first season, but how much longer do we need to wait?
When is Invincible Season 2 coming to Prime Video?
We don’t have much to update since the post last month. Prime Video is staying quiet about this release.
It is possible that we’ll see it sometime in the second half of 2022. However, it could be pushed to an early 2023 release. Voice work has only just recently started, and that means there’s still a lot of work to do.
Animation can work differently to live-action, though. There’s a different post-production process after the voice work is done, which could help to keep the wait to a minimum at this point. The problem with animation is that it does take a lot of time, which is the reason for this big wait.
Hopefully, the wait for Invincible Season 3 will be kept to a minimum. With the two-season renewal, the work can get started on Season 3 relatively early. In fact, the writing work could already be completed.
