June is a great month for those looking to add new DVD and Blu-rays to their collections. There is a lot arriving throughout the month, with this first week being the quietest of the lot. While it’s quiet, that doesn’t mean there’s nothing coming.

We start with the biggest release of the week. It’s all about The Northman. This movie follows a Viking who witnesses the brutal murder of his family. He decides that he needs to train so that he can get his revenge. Never anger a Viking.

For those who love supernatural thrillers, Evil is certainly a series to check out. The second season of the series is coming to DVD and Blu-ray this week. It follows more curious cases that could have some Godly event thrown in, but it could also just involve normal, psychotic people.

Then there’s the release of a new series. NBC’s top drama La Brea brought us a story of two worlds. A group of people fall through a sinkhole and land in prehistoric times. They want to get back home, while those back home want to figure out what happened and how to get them back.
