DVD and Blu-ray releases this week: The Batman, X, and more
A new week brings a bunch of new DVD and Blu-ray releases. This week brings The Batman, X, and much more to our DVD shelves.
As we head into a new week, we look at the new movies and shows that we can get on DVD and Blu-ray. This is a good time to look as broadcast TV shows come to an end for another season.
There are 11 releases happening this week. Some are far bigger than others, especially if you love the world of DC or horror. So, what can you own? We’ll look at some notable additions and then we’ll take a look at the full list of releases.
The Batman, X movie, and more
We start with the biggest release of the whole week. The Batman starring Robert Pattinson is coming to DVD and Blu-ray this week. This is certainly a release a lot of DC fans have been waiting for. Sure, it has its imperfect moments, but it’s been an excellent retelling of the same old comic book story.
For those interested in horror, X is the release to look forward to this week. It follows Maxine Minx in 1979. She’s a porn star and wants to make it big, so she takes her production crew out to an isolated farmhouse in rural Texas. Of course, this has all the makings of a typical horror movie. The lesson here is to not head out to isolated farmhouses in rural Texas!
Need something for the kids? How about Teen Titans Go! & DC Super Hero Girls: Mayhem in the Multiverse? It’s the movie crossover event they’ve all been waiting for. Lex Luthor is out to cause trouble and the Teen Titans Go and Super Hero Girls need to join together to stop him.
