The Wheel of Time Season 2 is not coming to Prime Video in May 2022

We would love to say “surprise, The Wheel of Time Season 2 is coming this month,” but that’s not the case. When will we see the second season?

We still don’t have a release date for The Wheel of Time Season 2. It’s definitely not on the list of releases in May 2022, but that wasn’t really something we expected to see. After all, the first season only just arrived at the end of 2021.

That didn’t stop us looking out for a miracle or a surprise. It also doesn’t stop us from looking out for any news about the show.

When is The Wheel of Time Season 2 coming to Prime Video?

We have a wait on our hands, and we don’t know how long that wait is going to be. Prime Video has not yet committed to a date for The Wheel of Time Season 2.

That’s not surprising. It was only at the end of March that there were rumors of filming wrapping. The Prague production has wrapped, but there have been questions around the Morocco leg of filming.

It turns out that filming is now complete. makeup, hair & prosthetics Designer Davina Lamont shared that news on Instagram.

Now that filming is wrapped, the series can enter the post-production process. This can take six to eight months at least for a series like this. We’re looking at the eight-month mark at the earliest because of the graphics that need to be added in. There may just be a chance that we can see the season arrive at the end of 2022, but we may have to wait until January 2023.

There have been rumors that The Wheel of Time Season 3 is confirmed. Those rumors aren’t true at this time. We’ll keep an eye on any renewal news that does happen.
