The Wilds Season 2 premiere picked right back up off the Season 1 finale. It took a while to find out what actually happened to Nora, though.
When The Wilds Season 1 ended, we had a lot of questions. One of those was whether everyone would survive the attack. Nora had swam out to save her sister, but they wouldn’t both make it back to the beach.
Rachael made it back, although missing her hand. It turns out that the shark attack was exactly how she’d lost her right hand. She also returned without her twin, which was a huge loss to the group.
This led to it taking a little longer for anyone to believe Leah as she took Fatin to where she had been trapped in the ditch. The ditch had been filled back up, and it was a while until Fatin realized that Leah wasn’t going crazy after all.
Did Nora die in The Wilds Season 2?
When we got the time of the girls being in the bunker, we knew there were two who potentially died: Nora and Martha. Throughout the first season, there were hints that something had happened to Martha, but nothing about Nora. It wasn’t all that surprising when we found out Nora was the mole on the island.
However, the second season opened with Nora missing. She didn’t make it back to the beach, and everyone then believed that Nora had died saving her sister. Rachael struggled with that grief, knowing that her sister had died for her.
We would later find out that Nora didn’t die. She had been extracted by Gretchen’s team. She watched the teenage girls deal with things on the island through a TV screen before being taken away, presumably being taken home where she and her family would wait for the rest of the experiment to come to an end.
