Good Omens Season 2 is not coming to Prime Video in April 2022

There are a few Amazon shows we’re looking forward to seeing. Good Omens Season 2 is one of them, but it’s not coming just yet.

When we found out that Good Omens Season 2 was going to happen, we couldn’t have been more excited. David Tennant and Michael Sheen will return as the best demon/angel duo on TV right now…maybe ever!

The bad news is we’re not going to get to see the season just yet. Good Omens Season 2 was not on the list of April 2022 releases on Prime Video, and it’s not looking like something to be added at the last minute. We have seen last minute additions happen in the past.

To be honest, we didn’t expect to see the series just yet. However, we are getting closer to watching it.

Good Omens Season 2 release date predictions

When will we see the new season on Prime Video? There is a potential for it to arrive sometime in 2022.

Good Omens Season 2 filming is complete. That means the series is in the post-production stage, which can take six to eight months for a series like this. We’d love to see it on the earlier side, but even the longer side gives us some hope that it would come in 2022.

Eight months will take us to November 2022. It would certainly be a great addition toward the end of the year when the broadcast shows go on their winter breaks. Of course, a September release would be even better.

We are excited to see the new season. It’s going to bring a bunch of new characters, especially the angels. We’ve already met Gabriel and Michael, and we’ll get to meet Uriel, Muriel, and more in the second season. The bad news is Frances McDormand won’t return to voice God and we’re not seeing Benedict Cumberbatch back as Satan.
