We’re certainly ready to check back in with our stranded and tested teenage girls, but there’s more to the story in The Wilds Season 2. Check out the trailer for the new season.

If there is one thing in May that we’re excited for, it’s the new season of The Wilds. This is something we’ve patiently waited for, looking for answers to all the burning questions we had at the end of the first season.

We know the group of boys who were part of the Twilight of Adam project will come into the story. It looked like they were all getting along in the footage Leah saw, but the trailer gives us a very different look. Things aren’t always as they seem.

What do the boys face in The Wilds Season 2?

The trailer does have a lot to cover. It needs to tease what we can expect with the teenage girls we’ve already come to know and love. We left the girls finding some sort of solace on the island, except for Leah, who has figured out that they’re all being watched and this is some sort of experiment. However, things are taking a turn for the worst with Rachael being attacked by what we presume is a shark in the water.

Is this how Rachael losing her hand? We know that happened at some point based on the “interviews” after the girls were “saved.” What we don’t know is how, or what happened to Martha. It sounds like Rachael may feel guilty for something happening to one of the girls, and that could be Martha.

Meanwhile, we’ll get to see what happened to the boys. The Twilight of Adam program was introduced at the very end of The Wilds Season 1, and we have a lot of questions. They didn’t face the same issues as the girls, losing the one who was supposed to be the adult to help keep everyone on track (or maybe cause trouble for the boys?), but that doesn’t mean things will work out as expected.

It looks like the boys and girls are going to come together at some point. Leah sneaks up on one of the boys, but is this during the “interview” stage or while they’re on the island?
