Is Severance on Amazon?

Severance has become one of the more underrated shows on TV right now. You may just be hearing about it, but can you stream it on Amazon?

Severance has just been renewed for Season 2, but don’t worry if this is the first time you seem to be hearing about it. It is one of those shows that flew under the radar at first. Think of it like Game of Thrones before everyone started talking about it. That was around the first two seasons, by the way.

It is certainly a series you want to check out if you love dramedies that have a dark undertone. In this series, the people who work at Lumen have undergone a procedure where their work and home memories are separated. When at work, they don’t know about home. When at home, they don’t know about work.

When a colleague turns up at Mark’s home to talk about work, he realizes that there may be something serious happening within the workplace. Now he needs to get to the bottom of it, but how will that be possible with the way his memories have been split?

Severance is not available on Prime Video

There is some bad news when it comes to streaming Severance online. We start with the fact that it is not on Prime Video.

This is an Apple TV+ series. Very much like The Morning Show, For All Mankind, and See, the series is not available with your Prime membership. There’s little chance this will happen as Apple continues to grow its streaming platform independently.

Severance likely won’t come to Amazon Video

We have further bad news that it’s unlikely we’ll be able to watch the series on Digital. That means it won’t come to Amazon Instant Video.

We haven’t seen other Apple TV+ shows head to Digital. It doesn’t make sense if we’re honest. Why encourage people to pay once to watch a show whenever they want instead of pushing people into a subscription?

We’re also not expecting to see it on DVD and Blu-ray.
