The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 is not coming to Prime Video in April 2022

We’re certainly ready to see how Midge’s story comes to an end, even if it is bittersweet. The wait for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 continues.

The wait for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 has really only just got started. The fourth season only came to an end in the middle of March, making it look like Midge has figured out what she wants to achieve in her career.

It’s not just about Midge, though. Abe and Rose are on a journey to figure out what they want to do in their lives, and Joel has found out his girlfriend, Mei, is pregnant. There’s a lot to work out right now, and we’re certainly excited to see what’s to come.

However, we’re not getting answers any time soon. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 is definitely not coming to Prime Video in April 2022. And we don’t need the full list of releases to work that out.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 release date predictions

The fifth season was ordered just before Mrs. Maisel Season 4 premiered on Prime Video. It came with the bad news that it would be the final season, and this isn’t Amazon’s decision. Creators Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino decided it was time to bring the story to an end.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the two knew the story would end somewhere around the fourth or sixth season. They just didn’t have the exact time period, and it was during the pandemic that they realized this was a good time to bring the story to an end. The two want to make sure the series ends on a high and doesn’t get dragged out, and fans will certainly appreciate that.

The pre-production work is happening right now. We’ll get more of an idea of when The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 could come to Prime Video once filming starts. However, right now, we’re looking at sometime at the beginning to middle of 2023.
