Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls is the only arrival this week. You’ll want to watch it right away, but is it something to watch with kids around?

There’s no doubt that you’ll want to watch Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls as soon as it drops. It’s a great series that brings representation to our screens.

Lizzo is on the hunt for backing dancers. She doesn’t want any dancer, though. She needs the most talented, and that doesn’t mean looking for the thinner, athletic look that we’re used to seeing on the stage. It’s all about bringing representation, and that means giving larger women a chance.

She certainly finds her dancers. This series is a chance to see the audition process and why Lizzo decided to do this.

Now you’ll want to know if it’s something for the whole family. That means looking at the age rating.

It’s rating 16+ in Canada. In the United States, it’s been given a TV-14 age rating. This is the age rating that most broadcast content is given, and we all know that younger children tend to end up watching some of these shows. It’s not just 14-year-olds who go to bed after 8 p.m.!

The series itself is likely to be a great series for children to watch. It’s a chance for many to see that size doesn’t have to hold people back. There will always be someone out there willing to give them a chance. We just don’t see that happen, with a lot of movies and shows focusing on the larger characters forced to lose weight.

There will be questions that come up. Why not watch it with your children, especially teenagers who will be going through thoughts and fears about their body sizes?
