With the way Upload Season 2 ended, we’re excited to see what’s to come next. Here’s what we know about Upload Season 3 so far.

Things are getting crazier by the minute in the world of Upload. The second season brought us answers finally to who killed Nathan. We even got to know why, and it’s not just that he was bringing a free world for people to upload in. There is something far more nefarious going on.

Meanwhile, Nora joined with the LUDDS in an attempt to bring all technology down. She couldn’t go through with it all, though. In the end, she got the LUDDs to work with her on bringing down Freeyond before it was too late.

Then there’s Ingrid. It turned out she didn’t upload after all. She was just biding her time before she could download Nathan into his own body. A body she was secretly storing.

Now Nathan is in that body, but for how long? What will happen in Lakeview now that his consciousness has been rebooted? We have so many questions, and here’s what we know about when we’ll get the answers.

Upload Season 3 release date predictions

As for right now, Upload Season 3 isn’t even confirmed, but we’re expecting that to happen. The writers are already hard at work. Depending on when filming starts, it would be possible that we’ll get Upload Season 3 sometime in 2023. We’re looking at toward the end of the year based on how long it takes to get through post-production for all the visual effects.

Upload Season 3 synopsis

As of right now, we don’t know what to expect from the third season. There’s no official statement of synopsis since the season hasn’t even been confirmed yet. However, we can judge a few things based on the way Season 2 ended.

We should see what’s to come from the nosebleed Nathan was suffering. Chances are that he won’t survive being downloaded, but Tinsley rebooting him secretly within the system will mean that he sticks around. He just won’t remember anything that happened in the real world.

Ingrid will need to regrow Nathan’s body again. She is focused on bringing him back and being with him, even though he doesn’t want to be with her.

Then there’s Nora and the LUDDs, who will need to stop David Choak’s plan. It’s clear that Choak is preventing the poor from voting by encouraging them to upload in Freeyond. The LUDDs will need to expose this and shut it down as soon as possible.
