After finding out who killed him and why Nathan offered to make a sacrifice. He was willing to download even though he knew it would kill him. Did he do it in Upload Season 2?

Nathan had to make a decision after learning it was David Choak all along who had had him killed. Freeyond is being used to make sure the elite win more votes. After all, those who have been uploaded can’t vote, and the poor are going to choose to live a life of luxury instead of the world they live in now.

Nora and the LUDDs needed to stop everything from happening. However, they needed Nathan’s eyes to be able to get into Freeyond to stop everything from happening. That meant Nathan had to download.

Of course, we’d seen in the first season that downloading wasn’t possible yet. Heads exploded immediately. Nathan shared that tests on pigeons were starting to work out. A small percentage survived and others lasted 24 hours before their heads exploded. Nathan was willing to risk his life for the sake of others.

Did the LUDDs download Nathan in Upload Season 2?

Nathan needed Nora and others on board to download him. Would Nora allow him to risk his life?

She didn’t really have a choice. They needed the real Nathan to save the world. So, Nora and the LUDDs stole Nathan’s body where Ingrid was storing him and then downloaded his consciousness into his body.

Nora and Nathan were able to share a special moment for the first time as they headed to Freeyond to save the day. The Upload Season 2 finale ended with Nathan getting a nosebleed on the way there. It looks like his head will explode after 24 hours.

That’s okay, though! Tinsley couldn’t find Nathan at Lakeview so she rebooted his consciousness within there. This should mean Nathan will be there after his head explodes. He just won’t have any memories of what happened in the real world.
