When is Upload Season 3 coming to Prime Video?

Upload Season 2 has left us with burning questions. Now we need answers, which means we need to know when Upload Season 3 is happening.

When we’re left with burning questions, we need answers right away. It’s only natural to start looking at when we could see the new seasons of our favorite shows.

There is one thing to point out right now. Prime Video has not confirmed the renewal just yet. However, the writers are already at work. It’s a good sign that the renewal is coming and Prime Video just needs to make it official.

With that in mind, we can start looking at when the new season could arrive. Here’s what we can work out so far.

Upload Season 3 could come to Prime Video in 2023

It is possible that we could see the new season sometime next year. This is especially the case since the writing has already started. It will all depend on when filming can start.

The seven episodes took about three months to film. Filming started in January 2021 and ended in April 2021. We could see the same thing happen with Season 3,  with filming starting sometime this year. After all, the delay to filming was due to the pandemic delays. Those don’t exist as much now.

The post-production stage took the longest. There are just so many digital elements to the series, and they take a long time to put in. Filming finished in April 2021 and the season didn’t arrive on Prime Video until March 2022. If filming wrapped sometime in late 2022, we’d be looking at late 2023 for the release date.

This is all assuming filming can start up immediately. If there is a delay, there would be a push into early 2024 for Upload Season 3.
