Is Upload Season 3 happening at Prime Video?

There are so many questions after the way Upload ended. Will we get answers? Is Upload Season 3 happening at Prime Video?

Upload Season 2 did not disappoint. We went on another journey into who killed Nathan and why. The reasons behind his murder aren’t all that surprising, but we won’t give away spoilers here. All we will say is that we still have a lot of questions.

It’s clear that we need another season. We need answers to these burning questions, and now we’re looking at whether the series has been canceled or renewed. Could we see this series end on a cliffhanger?

Upload Season 3 work has already started

Creator Greg Daniels recently shared that the writers have already started on Upload Season 3. It is clear why that is after watching the second season finale. There is much more of a story to tell, and it makes sense for the writers to get to work.

Except this doesn’t mean the season is happening! As of right now Prime Video has not officially renewed the series. We are expecting a renewal to come through any day now.

It took just a week for the second season to be confirmed back in 2020. This was as the world was shutting down and filming was being put on hold. It was clear that Prime Video had high hopes for the series. The positivity is still high, which is why the writers are currently at work.

It can take a couple of months for Prime Video to make decisions about some shows. This is to hear pitches and make sure there is an audience for the series. With writing work already started, we’re certainly expecting a renewal.
