Is The Adam Project coming to Prime Video?

There are a few interesting movies arriving this weekend, and The Adam Project is one of them. Will it be available on Amazon Prime Video?

The Adam Project stars Ryan Reynolds as a man who crash lands in 2022. He’s from the future, a future that needs to be saved. The only way he can do that is by teaming up with his past self from 2022. Of course, he can’t say too much or damage the chances of things happening in the future that need to happen.

This is certainly going to be a fun movie for all Reynolds fans out there. It’s also one for the time travel fans to check out. Now you just need to know where it’s streaming.

Is The Adam Project on Prime Video?

There is some bad news. This isn’t a movie coming to Prime Video. It’s not free with your Prime membership, and that’s the way it is probably always going to stay.

The movie is a Netflix Original. There’s just no reason for Netflix to share its content with another streaming platform. The only reason it would is if Netflix and Amazon needed to team up against other streaming platforms.

Will The Adam Project come to Amazon Video?

There is another way that the movie could make it to Amazon. It would be through Amazon Instant Video, which is where all Digital releases go.

It’s unlikely that The Adam Project is going to be released on Digital. There’s no need for Netflix to do this. In fact, it doesn’t make sense financially for Netflix to do this.

If the movie is released on Digital, it would be available to purchase once and watch as much as a person wants. People wouldn’t subscribe to Netflix to watch it.

We may see it head to DVD. The Adam Project has had a somewhat limited theatrical release, and Netflix movies that get a theatrical release tend to head to DVD at some point, like The Marriage Story.

The Adam Project is available to stream on Netflix on Friday, March 11.
