How many seasons of Alex Rider will there be?

Alex Rider is one of the best shows to come to IMDb TV, and it is an excellent adaptation of the books. How many seasons of it will there be?

When we heard there would be an Alex Rider adaptation, there’s no doubt that many fans of the books were concerned. It’s only natural to worry about how our favorite stories as teenagers and young adults will be adapted to the screen.

Anthony Horowitz, the author of the books, certainly helped settle our minds. He made it clear just how excited he was about the first season, and it didn’t take long to land a second season. That season is now out, but is this really the end? How many seasons of Alex Rider will there be?

This is where we have some bad news. As of right now, there are only two seasons of the YA series.

However, we’re certainly looking forward to more seasons. We’d love to see IMDb TV renew the show for a third season.

The website Premiere Date does say that the series has been renewed for a third season. It’s hard to find anything official to confirm this. It is certainly possible that it has been quietly renewed so that pre-production could get started.

We’ll certainly keep an eye on all things Alex Rider. This is certainly a series that we need to see more of. There are plenty of books to develop, so it’s not like there’s a shortage of source material to continue Alex’s story. It’s just a matter of whether the production team will get the episodes and the budget to keep telling the story.
